Report: Hyundai confirmed it’s in early talks to help make Apple's self-driving car

apple is reportedly talking with automakers about growing its self-riding car, and hyundai motor has confirmed it’s involved, in step with cnbc.

there’s nothing to announce yet: “because the discussion is at its early degree, nothing has been decided,” a spokesperson for hyundai motor informed cnbc. but they referred to that hyundai is among “a variety of global automakers” in talks with the tech massive.

the affirmation comes after a subdivision of korea financial every day pronounced that apple approached hyundai to cooperate on both growing an electric powered vehicle and working at the rechargeable batteries to conceivably use in them.

a separate bloomberg document claimed the apple automobile remains at least 5 years away. resources informed the news outlet that the vehicle is "nowhere near production degree" and, should development continue with apple’s small group operating on the assignment, a vehicle will be ready in five to seven years, assuming the pace isn’t increased.

rumors have reignited round apple’s project to construct an self reliant car, codenamed venture titan, with a current report suggesting tim cook dinner may be introducing a new car concept as early as september 2021. however reuters has recommended the apple car might arrive by way of a later date: 2024.
